Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Set-Up Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plastics injection molding , ensuring the production of high-quality components. This role requires a keen attention to detail, as well as proficiency with various manufacturing tools and machinery. Duties Set up injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications. Organize and perform machine change overs Problem solve, debug and improve product equipment/tooling Work with digital calipers, micrometers, electric, hydraulic and magnetic clamps. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting and basic repairs. Responsible for ensuring a safe and productive work environment Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and compliance with company policies. Requirements
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS PLASTIC INJECTION EXPERIENCE
Proven experience as an Injection Mold Set-Up Technician or similar role in manufacturing. Demonstrate high level of understanding of material properties and interactions in the injection molding process Work with manuals, blueprints, and supply catalogues with a minimum of direction Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
