Shift Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
CST Overtime:
Must be available to work occasional Saturday overtime shifts of 8-10 hours
Pay Rate:
$18.70 per hour Position Summary The Molding Operator operates and monitors injection-molding equipment to produce quality products safely and efficiently. This position is responsible for inspecting molded components, packaging finished products, completing production documentation, and identifying equipment or process issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate and monitor injection-molding presses and related equipment. Load and unload components into and out of molds, depending on the machine's level of automation. Perform visual inspections of molded products to ensure they meet requirements outlined in the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) and mold book. Weigh, count, fill totes, and label products to ensure accurate quantities and proper identification. Package finished products according to the applicable packing process sheet. Move materials and products from one process or workstation to the next. Complete required documentation, including production, scrap, downtime, equipment issues, labor reporting, and other process-related information. Identify and report quality concerns, equipment problems, safety issues, and process deviations to the appropriate supervisor. Follow established work instructions, company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One or more years of relevant manufacturing, molding, production, or machine-operator experience preferred. Basic ability to follow written work instructions, quality standards, and company procedures. Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation. Ability to recognize when established procedures may need to be reviewed or when a process deviation should be reported. Must be available to work the assigned second-shift schedule and occasional Saturday overtime. Skill Level Applies job skills and company policies and procedures typically acquired through a combination of limited prior on-the-job or vocational training and/or relevant work experience.
