In this vital role, you will be responsible for treating, and removing mold contamination from residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help clients restore safe, healthy environments after water damage, flooding, or other incidents that promote mold growth. This position offers an energetic work environment where your skills in cleaning, restoration, and safety protocols will make a tangible difference in people's lives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and industry standards. Duties Perform mold remediation procedures following established safety protocols and industry best practices Conduct thorough inspections to assess mold contamination levels using specialized equipment Remove mold using appropriate cleaning techniques, hand tools, power tools, and specialized remediation products Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and safety gear to ensure safety during all tasks Prepare detailed reports of work performed using Xactimate or similar estimating software for documentation and billing purposes Assist with water damage restoration, flood cleanup, fire restoration, asbestos abatement, and other related services as needed Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and personnel to job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety policies Maintain cleanliness of work sites during and after remediation projects; including carpet cleaning when necessary Support emergency response readiness by being available for on-call coverage during off-hours or weekends Use hand tools, power tools, and carpet cleaning equipment efficiently to complete projects effectively Follow all safety protocols related to respiratory protection, PPE use, and hazardous material handling Experience Previous experience in the restoration industry or mold remediation is highly preferred Construction experience or background in building trades is advantageous Knowledge of water damage restoration, flood cleanup, fire restoration processes is beneficial Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is a plus Demonstrated ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection measures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and safely during job assignments Join our team where your expertise in mold remediation and restoration will help transform damaged environments into safe havens.
