Cox Ready Mix Concrete is looking to add to our fleet of mixer drivers. The Ready Mix Driver is responsible for safely transporting freshly mixed concrete from the Batch Plant to the job site and is accountable for all duties of the position. Driver will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled (i.e. slump on concrete).

Duties:

Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Clean and wash vehicle, including removal of concrete buildup on all exterior part of the mixer Attend safety meetings as scheduled by management Demonstrate ability to work according to customer demands Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, state and federal regulations Fill out required paperwork completely and accurately

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Requirements/Qualifications:

Climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, frequent lifting of extension chutes (up to 60 lbs), stretching, driving/sitting and shifting gears Must have safe driving record (will have to provide DMV H-6 printout) Must be able to work flexible schedule with varying start and stop times Must have Texas Commercial Class A or B Driver's No more than two moving violations within the past 24 months No serious moving violations within the past 36 months No license restrictions(must be qualified for standard shift transmission) May be exposed to extremes of hot and/or cold weather conditions Overtime work, weekends and nights, may be required Seeking candidates with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and great customer service skill
