$14/hr. : TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Grinder for a manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for grinding and chipping excess slag from cut metal parts using hand and handheld power tools while maintaining quality and production standards. Duties include checking cut quality, reading drawings to verify part dimensions, labeling finished parts, moving materials, and assisting with plasma operations, table loading/unloading, and general shop maintenance as needed. Candidates must be able to use tape measures and other measuring devices, safely perform physically demanding work, and lift up to 50 lbs.; training will be provided for required shop procedures, overhead crane, and forklift operation. Must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may include hot or cold conditions.
