We are currently seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to support our manufacturing operations. This role is fully hands-on and requires a candidate who can independently operate manual equipment and contribute to shop productivity. The ideal candidate will also be capable of supporting training on specialized equipment similar to a manual lathe.

$20.00-$30.00/hour (based on experience) Key Responsibilities Set up and operate manual lathe and manual milling machines Perform machining operations including turning, facing, drilling, and basic milling Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and tolerances Work with a variety of materials including carbon steel and stainless steel Perform basic layout and measurement to ensure dimensional accuracy Inspect finished parts to verify compliance with specifications Maintain equipment and ensure proper machine operation Support training of operators on specialized equipment similar to a manual lathe Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and priorities Qualifications High school diploma required; technical training preferred Minimum 3+ years of manual machining experience (lathe and mill required) Strong understanding of machining fundamentals and shop practices Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience working with tight tolerances and precision measurements Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Must be authorized to work in the United States Technical Skills Operation of manual lathe and milling machines Use of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, tape) Familiarity with shop tools and equipment Basic troubleshooting of machining issues Materials Experience Carbon steel Stainless steel Bar stock, shafts, and machined components Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent use of hands and arms for machining operations About the
