Job Description

About the Role SNAP Packaging is hiring a 3rd shift Machine Operator to join our team! In this role, you'll keep machines running efficiently, perform quality control, and help the team hit production goals. Prior injection molding experience is a plus, but we're happy to train someone who is dependable, curious, and ready to learn. Our 3rd shift team works from 11:00pm-7:30am, Monday-Friday, on-site at our plant in Orem, Utah . (Night owls, your schedule finally has paperwork.) We manufacture precision-molded components that keep products sealed, secure, and ready to ship, serving customers across a range of industries who need parts that fit right every single time. From tooling and production to quality inspection and packaging, our team runs a tight safety focused operation built around consistency and reliability. We're proud of the work that happens on our floor, and we're looking for individuals with the same value-driven mindset to contribute to our success. What You'll Do
  • Monitor injection molding machines producing plastic parts.
  • Visually inspect parts for common defects (short shots, flash, sink marks, warping, discoloration) and pull non-conforming parts.
  • Pack finished parts into boxes. Palletize boxes and prepare for shipment.
  • Complete production logs, quality checksheets, and scrap/downtime tracking.
  • Load resin and colorant into hoppers and monitor material levels.
  • Maintain cGMP standards, including a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols.
  • Perform other general production duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Injection molding experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Comfortable working nights/early mornings and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Basic math skills and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility. What We Offer
  • $20.00 - $22.00/hr DOE
