Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate slitting equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Understand shop-floor computer interfaces and total machine operations. Follow Product Process Plans and established quality standards. Understand palletizing and scanning processes. Communicate closely with Press Operators regarding quality issues that arise during the slitting process. Identify potential problem areas and alert plant supervision, Quality Assurance, and/or the press crew. Participate in weekly safety and quality meetings. Perform hazardous waste management duties as required. Maintain speed and accuracy while operating production equipment. Lift up to 45 lbs. Work overtime as required.

Qualifications:

Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read and write sufficiently to follow work instructions and safety procedures. Comfortable using shop-floor computer systems. Strong attention to safety, quality, and accuracy. Must be dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
