Contractor LLC is growing, and we're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team in Hampton Roads. This is a local driving position — no OTR and no long-distance routes. You'll deliver ready-mix concrete to residential and commercial projects throughout the Hampton Roads area and return home daily . We're looking for more than someone who can drive a truck. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate a concrete mixer truck and deliver ready-mix concrete to residential and commercial job sites. Coordinate with dispatch, plant personnel, project supervisors, and job-site crews to help maintain efficient delivery schedules. Safely maneuver and position the mixer truck at construction sites. Properly operate mixer controls and discharge chutes during concrete deliveries. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections . Immediately report mechanical issues, damage, excessive wear, or safety concerns. Keep the assigned truck, cab, mixer drum, and discharge chutes clean and properly maintained. Use designated washout areas and follow company procedures for concrete cleanup. Maintain accurate delivery tickets, work records, inspection documentation, and required driving logs. Follow applicable DOT requirements and AHV Contractor LLC safety procedures. Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, suppliers, contractors, and job-site personnel. Treat customer property, company equipment, and job sites with care and respect.

EQUIPMENT CARE MATTERS

At AHV Contractor LLC, we believe professional drivers should take pride in the equipment they operate. Drivers are not expected to perform specialized mechanical repairs. However, they are expected to properly inspect their assigned truck, keep it clean, identify potential problems, report maintenance needs promptly, and help prevent unnecessary damage through responsible operation. Drivers who consistently demonstrate exceptional equipment care may qualify for our Truck Care Bonus Program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Class A CDL appropriate for the assigned vehicle. Acceptable driving record. Strong commitment to safe and responsible commercial vehicle operation. Previous Concrete Mixer / Ready-Mix Truck experience preferred. Construction or heavy commercial vehicle experience is a plus. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Professional attitude and strong communication skills. Ability to safely maneuver around active construction sites and recognize potentially unsafe conditions. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including entering and exiting the truck and handling discharge chutes, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to maintain assigned equipment and promptly report maintenance concerns. Ability to work outdoors and adapt to changing job-site and weather conditions.

This position serves Hampton Roads, Virginia and surrounding local service areas. No OTR. No long-distance routes. Start times and weekly hours may vary depending on concrete delivery schedules, project requirements, customer needs, and weather conditions. Specific scheduling expectations will be discussed during the hiring process.
