Our team handles water damage, mold remediation, fire restoration, cleaning, and reconstruction for residential and commercial properties. We're proud to serve Vermont communities and are looking for an experienced technician who wants to lead excellent work close to home. We are hiring a Lead Water Damage Restoration & Mold Remediation Technician with several years of hands-on experience. This person will lead a crew and take ownership of jobs from the initial setup through completion. The right candidate is highly motivated, organized, an effective communicator, and eager to excel in a lead role. Responsibilities Lead technicians on residential and commercial water damage and mold remediation jobs. Organize labor, equipment, materials, and daily tasks from job start through final cleanup. Perform and oversee water extraction, selective demolition, structural drying, containment, and mold remediation. Take and document moisture readings, monitor drying progress, and adjust equipment as job conditions change. Maintain accurate photos, readings, equipment records, and daily updates in Restoration Manager. Communicate clearly with customers about the work underway and the next steps. Keep the department manager informed of progress, changes in scope, and issues that need attention. Train crew members and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and jobsite organization. Participate in the after-hours emergency response rotation.
