$17.00/

1st or 3rd
Shift Hours:
07:00 AM
  • 03:00 PM Monday
  • Friday or 11:00 PM
  • 07:00 AM Sunday
  • Thursday QPS is seeking Furnace Operator right here in Beaver Dam!
These roles assist in processing parts through our furnaces. Openings on 1st or 3rd shift, with an ASAP start! Here is a chance to get into a great company and begin a new career!
Furnace Operator Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control the operation of furnaces to ensure optimal performance and adherence to production schedules
  • Load and unload powdered metal components into and out of the furnace according to established procedures
  • Monitor and adjust furnace temperature, atmosphere, and other parameters to achieve desired sintering results and product specifications
  • Conduct regular inspections of sintered parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • Identify and address any deviations or defects in the sintering process
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of furnaces and related equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating furnaces and handling powdered metal materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize safety risks
  • Record and maintain accurate production and process data, including furnace operating parameters, material usage, and quality inspection results
  • Coordinate with other team members, including machine operators, quality inspectors, and maintenance technicians, to optimize production efficiency and quality Requirements for
Furnace Operator:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in furnace operation, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and production specifications
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
