This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys physical, hands-on work and wants to learn the foundry industry. No foundry experience? No problem! The company is willing to train the right candidate. Manufacturing experience is ideal, along with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

•High School Diploma or GED preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

•Previous manufacturing experience is ideal, but willing to train the right candidate! Foundry or furnace experience is a plus.

Job Duties:

Operate and monitor industrial furnaces used in the die casting process. Clean out and maintain furnaces to keep production running safely and efficiently. Pour molten metal according to established procedures and safety standards. Perform quality testing and inspections of materials and finished products. Monitor temperatures and production processes. Transport materials throughout the facility as needed for production and shipping. Band and secure finished materials for shipment. Assist with material handling and general production duties as needed. Follow work instructions and safety procedures when working around high-temperature equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment.

What We're Looking For:

Manufacturing experience is ideal, but willing to train! Previous foundry, furnace, metalworking, or die casting experience is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable working in a hot, industrial manufacturing environment . Comfortable performing physically demanding, hands-on work. Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and work instructions. Strong attention to detail, especially when performing quality testing. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
