Melter Job Description A Foundry Melter's role involves operating furnaces to melt metals, pouring molten metal into molds, and ensuring the quality of the final castings. This position requires knowledge of metallurgy and casting processes. Responsibilities Operate furnaces to melt metals. Pour molten metal into molds. Ensure the quality of the final castings. Apply knowledge of metallurgy and casting processes to perform daily tasks. Essential Skills Foundry experience Diecasting knowledge Casting processes expertise 2+ years of prior melting experience Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work in a foundry environment Why Work Here? Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
