The employer is a smaller, growing, ISO certified, plastic manufacturer. Employees are treated well and tend to stay a long time. The plant is air conditioned. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Carry out routine preventive maintenance and repair tasks on all molding and support equipment Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical breakdowns Document all completed PMs and repairs within the ERP Software system Complete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, switches, etc Inspect and replace filters on HVAC units and injection molding machines Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions Coordinating regular inspections and urgent repair services with external vendors Working ten-hour days Monday through Thursday on first shift The background of the successful candidate must include the following: Proven expertise in diagnosing and fixing pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and basic electrical systems Negotiating contracts with service providers Strong attention to details and problem-solving skills Possess the willingness to work ten-hour days Monday through Thursday on first shift A solid work history A US citizen or possess a green card A residence within a 45-minute drive
