Weekend Shift Wages:
$22.50- $26.
Days of Work:
MondayThursday Hours of Work:
6am- 4pm Eligible for $250 monthly bonus based on attendance and safety 90 Day review with opportunity for pay increase (based on performance) Competitive benefits package Monthly employee events Premier Aluminum is an E-Verify employer Primary Functions Set molds and operate permanent mold casting machines and assist on setups and maintenance under general supervision.
- load charge and maintain temperatures Mount, align and secure molds Make hydraulic power connections, set temperature controls and machine stroke Clean and coat molds Follow detail process sheets for methods and sequences to close and pour molten metal at proper temperatures, flow rates and cycle time to obtain sound castings Inspect pieces and recognize surface defects, short fills, distortion or quality defects Adjust temperature and machine to correct variations Perform finishing work on raw pieces, such as trimming, deburring, grinding Perform routine maintenance Perform other duties as assigned Physical Requirements The physical requirements for this position require continuous standing and intermittent walking, bending, sitting, and lifting of parts that may at times be in excess of 50 pounds.
Requirements:
Skills and Experience Basic math skills- counting, adding, subtracting, multiplication, division Solid work history Mechanical abilities Minimum of six (6) months experience in a manufacturing environment Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent
