Process Technician Posted on July 7, 2025 July 7, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Process Technician to support manufacturing operations through continuous process improvement and technical troubleshooting. This role is essential in maintaining high production standards, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and brings a hands-on approach to optimizing manufacturing processes. Position Responsibilities Process Monitoring and Optimization Monitor and adjust manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions in real-time Assist with developing and refining standard operating procedures (SOPs) Troubleshooting and Technical Support Provide frontline support for equipment-related issues on the production floor Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve mechanical or process disruptions Conduct root cause analysis and recommend sustainable solutions Continuous Improvement Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement initiatives aimed at increasing throughput and reducing waste Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement Support implementation of automation and process upgrades Training and Documentation Assist in training production staff on new procedures and equipment Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of all process changes and technical instructions Prerequisites Associate degree or technical diploma in manufacturing, engineering technology, industrial maintenance, or a related field 3+ years of hands-on experience in a process technician or similar technical role within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of production machinery, process control systems, and safety protocols Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and standard operating procedures Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt Certification in Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics OSHA safety training certification Technical certification in PLC or automation systems What the Role Offers Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 annually Annual performance-based bonus eligibility Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and company holidays Opportunities for career advancement and professional training A collaborative, safety-focused work environment Why Jonesboro?
