Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Value Stream Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is integral to ensuring efficient production flow, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and operational excellence, with experience using ERP systems such as SAP. Duties Oversee daily production activities within the value stream to meet operational targets and quality standards Coordinate with production planning and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials using MRP and ERP systems Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing techniques Manage workflow, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure mechanical systems are functioning optimally Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain product standards Support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and enhancing safety Collaborate with plant management on operations management strategies and supply chain analytics Assist in implementing process improvements and lean initiatives across the manufacturing line Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, inventory levels, and process adjustments Skills Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, operations management, and plant management Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and familiarity with MRP for production planning and supply chain management Experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and process optimization techniques Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to analyze supply chain data and utilize supply chain analytics for decision-making Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in quality control procedures Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams and departments Prior experience in supply chain management, operations management, or production management is preferred This role is ideal for professionals committed to operational excellence who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
