$75,000 - $95,000/year (DOE) Position Summary A leading Hyundai/Kia Tier 1 Automotive Supplier is seeking a PD (Assembly) Specialist to support production planning, assembly operations, and continuous process improvement within our automotive manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive manufacturing, production planning, and assembly operations with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Support daily production planning and scheduling Coordinate assembly line operations to meet production goals Monitor production performance and report daily results Manage operator assignments and manpower allocation Identify production issues and coordinate corrective actions Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing procedures Support training and development of production operators Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Production teams Assist management with additional production-related projects as assigned The role includes supporting production planning, managing operator allocation, monitoring production results, identifying production issues, supporting quality compliance, and working with Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in automotive or manufacturing operations Basic understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Automotive manufacturing experience Assembly production experience Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement Bilingual (English/Korean) is a plus The JD prefers a mechanical, automotive, or industrial engineering background (or equivalent experience), basic production management knowledge, MS Office proficiency, and strong responsibility, communication, and problem-solving skills.
