Job Description

Hands-on manufacturing engineering professional responsible for improving production processes, supporting equipment and tooling needs, and driving safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations. Job Requirements Experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or mechanical engineering Experience supporting manufacturing operations in a production environment Experience designing, specifying, sourcing, and validating tooling, fixtures, machinery, and production equipment Experience troubleshooting equipment issues, process failures, and quality concerns Experience developing and maintaining layouts for facilities, equipment, and manufacturing processes Experience supporting launch activities for new and revised products Experience applying data-driven and statistical analysis for quality improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization Experience researching, developing, and refining manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and equipment solutions Preferred Skills Process improvement experience Continuous improvement experience Preventive maintenance knowledge Plant engineering experience Experience setting manufacturing performance targets and evaluating post-launch results Experience training production personnel Job Responsibilities Support and improve existing and newly developed manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production Design, specify, source, and validate tooling, fixtures, machinery, and production equipment Provide direct support to manufacturing operations by troubleshooting equipment issues, process failures, and quality concerns Develop and maintain layouts for facilities, equipment, and manufacturing processes to improve workflow and efficiency Support the launch of new and revised products by coordinating manufacturing readiness activities Set performance targets, support production training, and evaluate results after launch Apply data-driven and statistical analysis techniques to identify opportunities for quality improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization Research, develop, and refine manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and equipment solutions
