This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while leading teams and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply and support manufacturing operating systems (MOS) to optimize productionEnsure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and meets quality and throughput targetsAssign and coordinate skilled trades and engineering resources for maintenance supportLead root cause analysis and Maximo 4D documentation for equipment failuresDevelop and improve preventative maintenance plans and spare parts strategiesFacilitate shift meetings, startup activities, and constraint/bottleneck analysisDrive continuous improvement, SQDCPME, and Lean manufacturing initiativesPromote compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsBuild team capability and maintain a positive, high-performance work environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred3-5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial operationsStrong knowledge of PLCs, Siemens systems, and production equipmentExperience with Lean manufacturing, Maximo, and maintenance systemsProven ability to lead in a unionized environmentStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)This is an excellent opportunity to lead manufacturing performance, equipment efficiency, and team development in a high-impact role.
