Job Description While working on the Launch team, you will be responsible for operations, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment. Work requires the ability to make decisions based on established procedure. Work is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of GMS; focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). Use of independent judgement. May involve training others.
Responsibilities:
Manages Torque Engineering projects including planning, installation, new, replacement, operations improvements, and User Acceptance Validation (UAT) Activities Assures common controls architecture for all new and revised tooling and equipment Coordinates and communicates the development of changes to improve conditions for the assembly process Enforces safe work practices as the highest priority and implements objectives for ergonomics, health/safety, and housekeeping Mechanical/Electrical aptitude with the ability to grasp complex systems easily Develops and monitors planning timetables and project schedules Responsible in ensuring all T&E Bulletins and PCP's are maintained and met. Participates in functional area plant meetings and related functions to represent Launch and to assist in improving the plant's performance goals.
