ABL - an Aqualis Group company - is a leading global independent energy and marine consultant working in energy and oceans to de-risk and drive the energy transition across the renewables, maritime, and oil and gas sectors, offering the deepest pool of expertise across marine and engineering disciplines in more than 300 locations globally. We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant specializing in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to support offshore and onshore operations within energy, oil and gas, utilities, and heavy industrial sectors. This role combines deep SAP PM expertise with practical maintenance engineering knowledge, ensuring maintenance strategies, asset hierarchies, and equipment data structures align with engineering documentation and operational requirements. What will you be doing? Lead SAP PM and EAM support activities. Generate, prioritize and schedule preventive maintenance work orders. Develop and optimize maintenance strategies, task lists and job plans. Manage corrective maintenance workflows from notification through closure. Maintain equipment master data, functional locations and asset hierarchies. Provide SAP PM user support, coaching and training. Develop KPI dashboards and maintenance performance reporting. Support safety criticality reviews, gap analyses and compliance initiatives. Interpret engineering documentation including P&IDs, Electrical One-Line Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams and equipment datasheets. Ensure CMMS structures align with engineering standards and asset design documentation. What are we looking for? 8+ years
SAP PM / EAM
experience. Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Mining or Heavy Industry. Strong maintenance planning and scheduling expertise. Experience with equipment master data governance and CMMS administration. Knowledge of SAP PM, EAM and work management processes. Knowledge of functional location and equipment hierarchy development, and preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs.

This position will be based at our office in Houston. You must have the right to live and work in the United States.
