Job Description

About the Role As a Manufacturing Operations Lead, you will spearhead daily production workflows, optimize manufacturing output, and mentor a high-performing team. Your expertise in machining and process improvement will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and meeting critical production targets. Responsibilities Orchestrate production schedules to align with customer demand and material availability. Direct floor operations to ensure maximum machine uptime and efficient resource utilization. Champion safety protocols and quality assurance standards to maintain a zero-incident environment. Develop and mentor staff to build a culture of accountability and professional growth. Drive continuous improvement through the application of Lean manufacturing principles. Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement cost-saving workflow enhancements. Required Skills Proven experience in manufacturing leadership and team supervision. Deep technical understanding of machining processes and production machinery. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making and reporting. Demonstrated ability to resolve complex operational and equipment challenges. Excellent interpersonal communication for cross-departmental collaboration. Preferred Skills Advanced knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with ERP or advanced production planning software. Background in implementing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Certification in industrial safety or operations management.
