Job Description

YS, Inc., a family-owned employer since 1982, has positions available. Production Operators, Mon-Thu, 6am-4pm, 10 hour shift Start at $18.00 per hour

Job Description:
High School diploma or GED required. Background check required
  • no applications with felonies accepted. Ability to comprehend written instructions. Adhere to safety and environmental rules. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Able to pass a physical, drug, and spirometry test. Forklift certification preferred.
  • Control a variety of power-generation equipment and machinery during normal operation, scheduled maintenance, and emergency repair procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with other plant personnel, including managers.
  • Utilize a variety of analog and digital informational displays to understand operational performance variables, such as electricity flow and voltage, and record information accurately into manual logs.
  • Monitor operating equipment, Observe gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
  • Handle material/product in accordance with ISO guidelines.
  • Participate in regular training and safety sessions to improve performance.
  • Comfortable with maintaining cleanliness in their specific areas (Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing/sanitizing bathrooms when needed, vacuuming, etc.)
  • Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Able to adapt and be flexible.

From $18.00 per hour
