Responsibilities:
Operate and oversee equipment to regulate flow rates, chemical feed rates, and water quality parameters during the water treatment process. Perform regular inspections and upkeep of plant equipment to ensure peak performance and detect potential issues. Gather water samples and conduct laboratory tests to assess water quality and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Address alarms and emergencies promptly to troubleshoot problems, implement corrective measures, and reduce downtime. Maintain precise records of plant operations, maintenance tasks, and water quality data for reporting and regulatory purposes.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years of experience working as a Grade IV Water Plant Operator. Proficiency in maintaining water treatment equipment and processes is required. Knowledge of water quality regulations and safety standards is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities are necessary for managing plant operations effectively.
