Alene, Idaho, United States Job Description Description Role Overview:
We have an excellent opportunity for anEXPERIENCED
Grade Crew Foreman in the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho area, and we encourage applicants in the Lewiston Clarkston Valley and North Idaho to apply!Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong working knowledge of safety rules, regulations, construction layout, and specifications
- Have knowledge of proper grading techniques as well as the operation of most types of grade construction equipment, including maintenance of all work equipment
- Supervise a crew of one (1) or more employees depending on the project
- Work with Grade Supervisor and Project Managers to develop and execute an effective work plan and schedule to meet project goals.
- Prepare or assist the Grade Supervisor in the preparation of daily, weekly, or monthly job tracking documentation and employee time records
- Maintain good attendance and safety record and set an example for others to follow
- Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including: standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years or more preferred in excavation and grading construction operations.
- One (1) year or more managing/supervising construction crews Have verifiable experience as an equipment operator
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work day shifts and night shifts. Shifts may vary according to project demands
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be willing to travel if job requires
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
