Since 1946,we'verelied on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service. We are seeking a Batch Plant Operator for County Prestress at our Romeoville, IN location.
Job Duties:
Ensures the machine is kept clean and well maintained at all times Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot the machine as needed Work closely with Plant Supervisor, making sure that all concrete batches are produced in alignment with the production schedule. General understanding of manufacturing processes Good math skills•Attention to detail
Work Environment:
Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures Work near moving machinery and equipment•could include electrical hazards Work in confined spaces Work in a noisy environment
Physical Requirements:
Sitting Carrying/Lifting 10•40 Pounds Standing / Walking / Climbing Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending Pushing / Pulling /
Reaching Above Shoulder Experience & Qualifications:
Ability and willingness to learn and be trained Safety-minded when performing tasks High school diploma or equivalent Ability to operate forklift or other mobile equipment preferred, not required. Experience in the construction and/or building materials industry preferred, not required.
