Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Wastewater Operator and become a vital part of ensuring clean, safe, and efficient water treatment processes. In this energetic role, you will operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment, monitor system performance, and ensure compliance with environmental standards. Your proactive approach will help sustain our community's health and protect the environment while providing opportunities for professional growth in water treatment operations. Responsibilities Operate and control wastewater treatment system. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform repairs on pumps, valves, motors, and other mechanical components. Collect and analyze data related to water quality, flow rates, chemical levels, and system efficiency to support operational decisions. Manage heavy equipment operation including tanker trucks for sludge removal or chemical delivery, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Perform maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, mechanical adjustments, and equipment calibration to maintain system integrity. Assist in construction or upgrade projects by supporting installation activities and ensuring proper functioning of new systems. Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly while adhering to safety standards; perform basic math calculations for chemical dosing and system measurements. Experience Mechanical knowledge related to pumps, motors, plumbing systems, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to perform equipment repair, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting efficiently. Pay:
