Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Operate power plant equipment including valves, breakers, pumps, motors, and specialized equipment in support of power production. Perform flawless energy isolation and permitting of equipment in support of maintenance Perform routine inspection of plant equipment Review plant equipment performance data on a daily basis and report deficiencies Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System to create, track, and complete work orders and work requests. Perform performance tests and troubleshoot equipment that is not performing as expected Review and edit operating procedures and P&ID's (Piping and Instrument Diagrams) The Successful Candidate will Demonstrate theFollowing :

Testing Required :
Must possess a high school certificate or equivalent. Related equipment operation or maintenance experience and an Associate of Science in Power Plant technology or its equivalent is preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must successfully complete theEEI MASS/POSS
Aptitude Test Working Conditions :
Time will be spent in the power plant in a noisy industrial environment. This includes areas of extreme temperature, times of inclement weather, and work at heights above ground. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and leather work boots. Must have a satisfactory work record including good attendance. This position works rotating shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays. Must live within 50-minute drive time of the plant.
