- O&M Technician is responsible for continuously monitoring all plant systems, responding to alarms, executing plant startup and shutdown procedures, and ensuring the facility operates safely, reliably, and efficiently within all regulatory and environmental requirements.
Licenses & Certifications Minimum:
Second-Class Engineer License- Massachusetts Department of Fire Services Hoisting License (HE-1D or higher)
- or ability to obtain within 12 months Hoisting License (HE-3A or higher)
- or ability to obtain within 12 months Skills & Competencies Strong operational judgment in complex, high-pressure environments Effective communicator with internal teams and external representatives Ability to work independently with limited supervision Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to read one-line diagrams and technical documentation Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Physical Requirements Exposure to varied outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions, high noise levels, hazardous areas, and diverse work surfaces.
