Job Description

2nd Shift QA/QC Plant OperatorValicor is looking for a 2nd shift QAQC Plant Operator in our Dearborn location.

The QAQC Plant Operator is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of environmental safety and operational excellence by effectively following the QA/QC program put in place for inbound waste.

Essential ResponsibilitiesFollow all Quality Control/Quality and safety procedures put in place operations, equipment, and personnel.

Sample and fingerprint all bulk and non-bulk inbound waste.

Ensure that the facility meets all Environmental Regulatory Compliance requirements on inbound bulk and non-bulk waste. This includes, but not limited to: sampling, fingerprint, treatability, and basic lab testing (pH, flashpoint, metal strip testing, %oil, etc.)Maintain lab equipment.

Help manage data entry into Valicors CRM software.

Collaborate with the SWP and QA/QC teams to build treatment batches and maintain container inventory. Work with on-site management to handle off-spec waste, rejections, and treatability.

Help maintain housekeeping of lab building and container storage area.

Desired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 3 years forklift experiencePrevious experience with industrial waste and/or wastewaterComputer Experience Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Ability to utilize computer-based management systems efficientlyPrioritization, organization, and ability to multitaskEthics & IntegrityFlexibility & AdaptabilityEffective cost control and budgeting skillsSuccessful candidates must pass the Pre-Screening process if offered this position. This includes a criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR check (if applicable for the position).
