Organization Gas Services Business Unit Service North America Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Entry-Level / Graduate A Snapshot of Your Day Join our team as an Auxiliary Operator, w you will play a vital role in the operation and maintenance of our plant auxiliary systems, including water treatment, air compressors, cooling towers, boilers, and chemical dosing. Imagine performing chemical analysis routines, conducting preventive inspections, and utilizing our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will also engage in lock-out-tag-out tasks and provide supervision in confined spaces, making a significant impact on our operations every day. How You'll Make an Impact Perform daily field operations for two 1x1 combined cycle power plants, executing tasks as directed by the Control Room Operator or Operations Manager. Comply with safety regulations and plant procedures, including lock-out-tag-out (LOTO), confined spaces, safety permits, and work at heights. Monitor the plant for safe operation, promptly reporting unsafe conditions or work practices to the Control Room Operator or Operations Manager. Report defective equipment and failures in the CMMS to ensure timely maintenance. Conduct routine inspections, accurately recording ings and checklists to maintain operational integrity. What You Bring A high school diploma or recognized equivalent, along with two years of college or vocational training in mechanical technology, or equivalent experience preferred. One to five years of experience in power plant mechanical maintenance, planning, coordination, or related military training preferred. Legal authorization for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
