Sunday-Thursday, 7:00a.m.-3:30p.m. (1st Shift); Sunday-Thursday, 3"00p.m.-11:00p.m. (2nd shift); Monday-Friday & Saturday-Wednesday, 11:00p.m.-7:00a.m. (3rd Shift)

September 30, 2026 Responsibilities Assigns work and participates in sampling, process control tests, check and operating equipment, line valves, evaluating unit process performance and maintaining a lean and safe work environment. Evaluates laboratory results and operational data to determine the condition of processes and makes process control decisions, including changes in chemical dosages, filter operations and sludge wasting rates. Ensures proper maintenance of equipment and line valves by writing Work Orders for preventive maintenance and repair work. Maintains accurate, complete, up-to-date operational records. Troubleshoots problems with equipment and processes. Trains Plant Operators and PO Trainees in plant operations and maintenance and safety. Uses computer for SCADA system, telemetry, factory talk and power BI. Performs related duties as required. Qualifications

REQUIRES

High school graduation and Possession of a B-level operator certification in water/wastewater issued by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Must possess a valid State-issued driver's license in accordance with the City of KCMO policies. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination.
