DESCRIPTION

: The City of Richmond is accepting applications for a Water Plant Operator. This position is responsible for the day to day operations of the Water Treatment Plant. Must be able to perform and understand all lab tests that are required for plant operations, and mechanical ability to make minor adjustments and repairs to operating equipment.

Qualifications :

Successful applicant must have graduated high school or trade school or equivalent, valid Missouri drivers' license, and proficient in basic computer skills. Candidates who possess a Class A, B or C Drinking Water Treatment and Water DS I or II certification issued by Missouri DNR will have special consideration. No relocation provided.

SALARY:

Salary range for this position is $40,518.40 - $56,721.60. Starting salary based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits. Benefits package includes paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System (LAGERS), medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Available voluntary benefits include Aflac supplemental insurance, 457(b) retirement plan, term life insurance, and flexible spending accounts (FSA) for medical expenses and dependent care.
