I,II,III
performs semi-skilled work in operating and maintaining a Water Treatment Plant. Minimum Qualifications for Water Plant Operator I Graduation from high school or equivalent; Driver's license valid in NC and good driving record; Ability to work regularly; Achievement of a Grade C water treatment operator's license (Water Plant Operator) or Grade I wastewater treatment operator's license (Waste Plant Operator) within 18 months. Minimum Qualifications for Water Plant Operator II Graduation from high school or equivalent; Demonstrable skills equivalent to two years' experience operating a water or wastewater treatment plant;; Driver's license valid in NC and good driving record; Ability to work regularly; Possession of a Grade C water treatment operator's license (Water Plant Operator) or Grade II wastewater treatment operator's license (Waste Plant Operator). Minimum Qualifications for Water Plant Operator III Graduation from high school or equivalent; Driver's license valid in NC and good driving record; Demonstrable skills equivalent to three years' experience in operating a water or wastewater treatment plant; Ability to work regularly; Possession of a Grade B water treatment operator's license (Water Plant Operator) or Grade IV wastewater treatment operator's license (Waste Plant Operator). Work Schedule 40 hours per week. On-Call rotation. Rotating 12-hour shift pattern. Paid bi-weekly. Closing Date This position will remain open until Friday, August 14th at 11:59pm.
