Supervise pipeline crews, equipment operators, and laborers. Coordinate daily construction activities, manpower, and equipment. Read and interpret pipeline drawings, plans, and specifications. Ensure proper installation, welding, coating, ditching, lowering-in, backfilling, and cleanup. Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Conduct daily safety meetings and job hazard assessments. Monitor production, quality, and progress to meet project schedules. Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and other crews. Troubleshoot field issues and make adjustments to keep the project moving. Track materials, equipment, manpower, and daily production. Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate job progress to management. Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment. Train and provide direction to crew members.
Qualifications:
Several years of pipeline/oilfield construction experience. Previous foreman or lead-hand experience preferred. Strong knowledge of pipeline construction procedures and safety requirements. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Ability to lead a crew and work effectively under pressure. Valid driver's license and willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and travel as required.
