Job Description

Our client is seeking a Wellwork Supervisor to work within their facilities located in Carlsbad, NM on an initial 12-month assignment (with possibility of extension / becoming permanent). Responsibilities Enforce all HSE policies and safety standards Perform and verify PCE testing Maintain safety compliance in H₂S environments Pass and uphold well control certifications Supervise crews and oversee all wellsite activities Coordinate daily operations with Production Techs, Pumpers, Foremen, and Engineers Review and execute wellwork procedures accurately Monitor tension, weight, and load readings during operations Manage wellhead pressures and maintain control Complete precise and timely wellsite documentation Ensure safe operation of all tools and equipment Support production operations through facility and battery system understanding Maintain site readiness and operational integrity Travel to remote locations as required Work safely in all weather conditions Uphold a clean, safe work environment Maintain compliance with driving and vehicle safety standards Skills & Qualifications Strong slickline field experience (2-5 years) Downhole tool knowledge Gas Lift Valve handling and installation Bumper spring installation Plunger assembly installation Well control competency Pressure monitoring and control Procedure review and verification Crew leadership and supervision Effective communication with multi‑discipline teams Understanding of facility flow paths and battery systems H₂S safety awareness Accurate documentation and reporting Physical capability (lift 50 lbs) Mechanical aptitude Safe work practices and hazard recognition Reliable decision‑making in field environments Strong situational awareness Clean and maintainable driving record Education & Experience High School Diploma 5+ years of oilfield experience
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
