Confined Space Rescue Technician Safety Resources Company of Ohio Canton, OH Job Details Part-time | Full-time $22 - $28 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Confined space entry safety procedures Confined space rescue operations Respirator Full Job Description Job summary: Provide standby rescue and entry rescue support for permit-required confined space operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA confined space regulations. Inspect, operate, and maintain rescue and fall protection equipment, including harnesses, winches, tripods, SRLs, and atmospheric monitoring devices. Perform hazard assessments, participate in rescue planning, and assist with emergency response as needed. Complete documentation and maintain equipment logs.
Minimum qualifications:
previous confined space rescue experience, experience with fall protection systems, ability to wear respiratory protection, and meet the physical demands of the role.
Preferred qualifications:
fire service or military background, current rescue or EMR certifications. Safety technician/instructor who is competent to do safety meetings on OSHA related topics. Schedule varies, including days, nights and weekends depending on project needs.
Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
