PETROLEUM TRANSLOAD OPERATOR

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Petroleum Transload Operator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the safe transfer of petroleum products between storage tanks and transport vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Your expertise in equipment operation and site experience will be essential to maintaining smooth, efficient transloading processes. Duties Operate and monitor petroleum separation and processing equipment. Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance, callibrations on petroleum tanks and related equipment Coordinate with production team to manage the flow and storage of petroleum. Ensure the safe handling and transport of petroleum, adhering to all safety protocols and enviromental regulations by FRA. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with petroleum equipment Record and report operational data, such as flow rates, temperatures, and pressures,to ensure optimal pressures, to ensure performance, ID loads, drivers and trucks. Monitor operations of standard operating procedures, and monitor pumps for correct callibration for petroleum operations. Provide and record training to new operators and other staff as needed. Report to Supervisor any maintenance or preventive maintenance that needs to be scheduled. Understand and implement lock/out ( LOTO) procedures for all petroleum handling equipment. Safely connect and disconnect transfer hoses and pipelines during product loading and unloading operations Monitor and control the flow of petroleum products to prevent spills or accidents Conduct routine inspections of equipment and transfer sites to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during operations Assist with site setup, including staging equipment and preparing transfer areas for efficient workflow Maintain detailed logs of all transloading activities, including quantities transferred and equipment used skills Wear required safety apparell issued, required by

OSHEA, & FRA

Willing to work weekends & holidays when required as the facility is 24/7.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equalivalent, further technical or vocational training perferred. Experience in gas & oil industry, particulary, in natural gas production or processing. Ability to read and interperate documents, such as operating manuals and safety guidelines. Profiency in using computer systems for monitoring and reporting as well as exceptional math skills. Ability to work independently and as part as a team. Physical ability to work in industrial enviroments, including climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, and working in inclument weather.

High school diploma / GED Valid driver's license Lift 50lbs. and handle physical work Intermediate to advanced computer skills, intermediate math skills

From $24.50 per hour
