Job Description
This hiring process is a partnership between Higher International Human Resources and Easton Suburban Water Authority. All resume's received will be shared with both organizations. Easton Suburban Water Authority has an immediate opening for an entry level Water Plant Operator at its facility located in Easton, PA. This is a full-time position that has a rotating schedule every other week. The available schedule is as follows: Week 1: Sunday 10 PM to Monday 8 AM Wednesday 2 PM to Thursday 12 AM Thursday 2 PM to Friday 12 AM Friday 2 PM to Saturday 12 AM Week 2: Tuesday 10 PM to Wednesday 8 AM Thursday 10 PM to Friday 8 AM Friday 10 PM to Saturday 8 AM Saturday 10 PM to Sunday 8 AM This position: Assists in operating the controls of the treatment plant processes and equipment to assure quality and quantity of drinking water for human consumption, industrial, and emergency use in accordance with all applicable regulatory standards. Operates and controls electric motor pumps, valves to regulate flow of raw water into water treatment plant and finished water to the distribution system. Receives and tests bulk chemical deliveries. Operates instrumentation. High School graduate with mechanical ability, and above average computer skills required. Thorough understanding of water system operations preferred. Valid driver's license required. Class A Drinking Water Operator's License preferred but not required at time of hire. Additionally, Subclass 1,7,8 and 12 is preferred, but not required at time of hire. Both need to be completed within 2 years of employment.
