Job Description:
Mojo Solutions and Services MSS LLC is seeking qualified individuals to join a 3-person standby rescue team (including one Team Leader) for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (Department of the Interior). The team will provide vital on-site standby rescue coverage during annual gate operation, testing, and inspection at Bureau of Reclamation dam facilities across the SD/WY region (including Angostura, Belle Fourche, Keyhole, Shadehill, Pactola, and Deerfield areas).
Key Responsibilities:
Standby Coverage:
Remain on site for the full duration of gate inspections (up to 8 hours per facility) and be prepared to execute technical rescue immediately if required.
Briefings & Planning:
Conduct pre-entry briefings and develop rescue plans in coordination with the Reclamation inspection lead.
Monitoring:
Monitor permit-required confined space entries and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.
Required Qualifications & Certifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of industrial/technical rescue experience (specifically confined space and rope rescue) OR equivalent fire/rescue service experience.
Certifications:
Confined-space rescue and rope rescue qualifications meeting Reclamation Safety and Health Standards (RSHS) Section 1.12 (NFPA 1006-aligned).
Compliance:
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146

Medical & Licensing:
Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification and a valid driver's license.
Required Skills:
Mastery of permit-required confined space entry, attendant, and rescue procedures. Atmospheric monitoring, patient packaging, and retrieval. High-angle/rope systems setup and operation. Clear communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in fire service or industrial rescue teams. Experience at dams or hydroelectric facilities. EMT Certification.
Pay:
Up to $45.00 per hour
