Job Description

LP Cylinder Filler - Maintenance C-Store Position Description This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service; operating the cash register and point-of-sale system; generating sales; merchandising; maintaining signage and pricing; supporting loss prevention; completing store housekeeping duties; filling LP cylinders; assembling hoses and fittings; and assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, driveways, and yard areas. This position reports to the Store Manager. Responsibilities Process customer purchases and merchandise through the POS system while following proper cash-handling procedures. Fill LP cylinders in accordance with safety procedures and company requirements. Replace hoses and fittings at gas and diesel pumps. Maintain grounds, including mowing lawns, removing snow, and keeping sidewalks free of debris. Clean spills at gas and diesel pumps, wash pumps and hoses, and inspect equipment for wear, damage, and leaks. Empty trash, replace liners, and restock window cleaner and towels. Clean restrooms and stock with supplies. Sweep, mop, or vacuum building floors. Complete all POS transactions accurately and ensure cash and other payment methods are controlled in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and merchandise assembly. Assist with receiving and monitoring floor stock and ensure rewraps are completed promptly. Assist with store housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized sales environment. Stock, dust, and front shelves. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. One to three years of sales experience preferred.
