Fluid Specialist

Job description Innospec is adding an experienced Field Fluid Specialist to our team in South & West Texas. This position works a rotating schedule of 14 days on and 7 days off. A company truck, per diem, and lodging are provided while on rotation.

Job Duties:

Conduct field test on water, testing for Iron, Chlorites, Sulfates, Calcium Carbonates, PH, Specific Gravity, and Temperature and properly record and report findings. Run tests on chemicals and acid delivered to site. Record amount of Chemicals acid and additives delivered to location using measured amounts from equipment operator Ensure proper amount of water and quality of water through field testing. Good understanding of the hazmat table, knowing and understanding the bill of lading (BOL), and knowing what how to use the placards. Keep paperwork current; maintenance sheets, fuel logs, log books, pre/post trips and responsible for maintaining and helping with repairing equipment Ability to verbally communicate and understand details and directions. Ability to proficiently operate all equipment on location including auxiliary equipment, knowledgeable and understands performance of all job duties on location. Performs work requiring advanced knowledge, and requires specialized instruction Maintain safety standards in shop, yard, on location and while traveling and report all hazards or potentially hazardous situations to Supervisor Even on an ordinary day at Innospec Oilfield Services, you are part of an extraordinary team of recognized drilling, stimulation and production chemical leaders in the world.
