This energetic position requires a proactive individual who thrives in outdoor environments and is passionate about maintaining safety standards while operating heavy equipment. As a key player in our manufacturing process, you will oversee the operation of asphalt mixing plants, ensuring efficient production, precise mixture design, and adherence to all safety protocols. Duties Operate and monitor hot mix asphalt plant equipment, including loaders, conveyors, and mixers, to ensure optimal production flow Manage the loading and unloading of raw materials using forklifts and other heavy machinery Maintain accurate records of mixture recipes, production volumes, and quality control checks based on blueprint readings and CAD software interpretations Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance on plant machinery, including welding, machining, and equipment calibration Follow safety standards rigorously by adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, power tool use, and outdoor work activities Interpret technical drawings and blueprints related to concrete forming and mixture design to ensure precise construction outputs Assist with fabrication tasks and minor repairs using hand tools and fabrication equipment to support continuous plant operations Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, forklifts, in a manufacturing or construction environment Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly Skilled in welding, machining, and fabrication techniques relevant to plant maintenance Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including power tool safety and heavy lifting protocols Knowledge of mixture design principles specific to asphalt production forming processes Construction industry experience with outdoor work environments and adherence to safety protocols Basic math skills for measuring materials accurately and calculating mixture proportions Experience with equipment maintenance routines to ensure optimal performance of plant machinery Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills meet impactful infrastructure development.
