This position will be responsible for monitoring UPW equipment and systems, facilitating effective communication throughout the organization, conducting equipment rounds and readings, responding to equipment and system failures, and performing initial troubleshooting.
Role and Responsibilities Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
Operate and Monitor Critical UPW Equipment:
Safely operate and monitor UPW systems including, activated carbon filters, reverse osmosis (RO) units, continuous electrodeionization (CEDI) systems, ultrafiltration (UF) units, UV oxidation, membrane degasifiers, resin beds, distribution pumps, chemical dosing systems, and
SCADA/HMI
controls.
Maintain System Reliability and Water Quality:
Continuously monitor key process parameters including resistivity, TOC, dissolved oxygen, silica, conductivity, particle counts, flow, pressure, and tank levels. Respond to alarms, troubleshoot equipment, perform startups and shutdowns, execute standard operational procedures.
Drive Safe and Efficient Operations:
Perform daily inspections, chemical handling, sampling, lockout/tagout and equipment isolations while adhering to environmental, health, and safety requirements. Accurately document operational activities, communicate system status during shift pass downs, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and commissioning teams to improve system reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Work hours:
A Shift - Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am - 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays. Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: High school diploma or technical school certification is preferred. 1-3 years of experience in ultra-pure water or reverse osmosis systems. Work experience in the semiconductor industry. Experience in operations and troubleshooting of
SCADA/HMI
systems. Familiarity with P&IDs. The current base salary range for this role is between $20.50 - $33.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
