Job Description Overview:
Insight Global's client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee a team of superintendents who will be managing pump station, utility, and heavy civil construction projects. This individual will provide leadership to field teams, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, ensure safety and quality compliance, and drive projects to successful completion on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing municipal pump station construction, underground utilities, concrete structures, and mechanical installations. Day toDay:
Manage and oversee multiple pump station and civil utility construction projects. Lead all field operations from project startup through completion. Develop and manage schedules, manpower plans, and equipment utilization. Supervise superintendents, foremen, field crews, and subcontractors. Coordinate vendors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders. Ensure compliance with contract specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Resolve field issues and conduct regular site inspections. Partner with Project Managers on budgets, schedules, costs, and change orders. Coordinate testing, inspections, commissioning, and startup activities. Oversee installation of lift stations, wet wells, pumps, motors, force mains, gravity sewer, water mains, valve vaults, electrical conduit, mechanical piping, grading, and concrete structures. Maintain project documentation and reporting. Participate in project meetings and enforce company policies.
