Plant Operator Laborer

Job description Perform a variety of tasks on and around production plant. Supporting plant operator in daily tasks ranging from plant operations to plant maintenance to plant clean up. Job Duties Perform a variety of manual tasks to operate and maintain stationary mining equipment Safely operate skid steer, manlift, and forklift Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day Conduct work wearing proper PPE Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to follow instructions and work independently to complete daily work assignments Ability to communicate orally and in writing Ability to wear PPE to include but not limited to Hi-Vis, safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, safety boots and fall protection/harness Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely Ability to meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency

Education/Requirements:

Heavy equipment operation in a mine site a plus Proper paperwork to document that you are authorized to work in the US Pass Pre-employment drug test and background check This is a safety sensitive position.

Physical Demands:

Working hours may exceed 10-hour shifts. Typical shift is M-F 6am-4pm Saturday half days. This job requires working outside in all kinds of weather. Attention to safety when working on and around mining equipment and moving machinery.

$21.00/hr - $28.00/hr
