Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Hydro Testing Foreman to lead field operations on pipeline pre-commissioning projects. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage crews, equipment, and client expectations in demanding field environments.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise hydrostatic testing operations from setup through completion Coordinate and execute pigging operations (cleaning pigs, caliper tools, batching, etc.) Oversee line filling, dewatering, drying, and nitrogen packing Manage caliper tool runs and interpret/report results Direct setup and operation of water pumps, filtration systems, and flow measurement equipment Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of test water (including contaminated/NGL service lines) Verify pressure ratings, test pressures, and equipment compatibility (hoses, fittings, test heads, etc.) Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and client-specific specifications Coordinate logistics for equipment, water sourcing, hauling, and disposal Complete and/or oversee test documentation, reports, and data loggingRequired Experience & Skills:
3+ years of hydrostatic testing experience preferred (foreman or lead role strongly preferred) Proven experience as a Hydro Testing Foreman or Lead Operator Strong background in: Pipeline pigging and tool runs Hydrostatic and pneumatic testing Dewatering and drying methods (air, nitrogen, etc.) Working knowledge of: Pressure ratings, MAOP, and test procedures Pumps (transfer & fill), compressors, and nitrogen equipment Frac tanks, containment systems, and water logistics Ability to read and interpret alignment sheets, test packages, and isometric drawings Experience troubleshooting field issues and making real-time decisions Strong leadership and crew management skills Valid Driver's License Able to pass pre-employment and random drug screeningsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with caliper tools and data interpretation Familiarity with Excel or digital data logging systems (pressure logs, test reports) Safety certifications (OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, etc.)What We're Looking For:
