Lead Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Operator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily activities, ensure operational efficiency, and lead a team of operators to meet operational and safety standards. Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of operators, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to operator rounds throughout the site. Assign and prioritize, as appropriate and needed, work orders, shift tasks, and coverage schedules for all Operators. Lead process improvement initiatives Implement and manage the Park operator training and certification program. Operate and monitor equipment such as boilers, chillers and pumps Conduct training sessions for team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards Perform routine inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate operational activities to minimize downtime Receive calls during off hours (nights, weekends, etc) from operators for assistance with site issues. Be responsible for completing employee performance evaluations for all direct reports Experience 3 to 10 years of experience directly managing others Proven experience in industrial settings environments with a focus on safety Strong background in machinery operation and mechanically inclined Prior leadership experience as a lead or supervisor in an industrial setting is preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and promote a safety-first culture Essential Job Functions Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time, climb stairs and ladders Must have experience in using a computer Have the ability to lift 50 lbs

Pay:

$62,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
