Plant Operator

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of plant equipment and machinery, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate and monitor plant equipment such as compressors, pumps, vessels, and valves to ensure optimal performance and safety. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any issues or maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of production data, including output levels, quality control measures, and equipment performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions quickly. Follow all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus. Must possess a valid driver's license with no major violations within the past five years. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various types of machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. The ability to work a seven-on, seven-off schedule, rotating between days and nights. Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
